...Desires of the lost

By SolApathy

In dreams & beyond desires
We catapulted into so many fires
Through it all you never betray
My confidant in my darkest days
To you I presented my sorrows within
My sounding board of sin and doubt
What would I do without?
I ponder the notion of you not there
To hear of my deepest cares
Questions of the soul
The answers you always seem to know
My eyes glow with soothing words upon you lips
You help me to slumber with dreams of brighter days
I wish to return this gift
…Some day

I get many thoughts from this... a love lost? the death of a lover? whichever it may be, this was beautifully written! ~worm~
