why me?
By molock
I've been watchin' an
angel while she sleeps...
I've been askin' myself,
...why me?
just another heart,
left for dead.
she came along,
and love was
resurrected.
this months messiah
the Lazarus effect...
motionless
as we drift,
deeper in time.
just one more kiss
from her lips,
will keep the fire
burnin' inside.
quiet as it's kept,
she moves the moon
and stars across the
sky...
I've been watchin''
 an angel,
as she sleeps...
I've been askin'
myself,
...why me?

Terrifically tender, and do not wake the sleeping she-bear Mo (at your own peril). A dreamy poem for a perfect peach. Peace and cheers my friend! - Dan
