The Red Lick of Her Fire: Another Month

She pulls another insect out
And eats it
Staring at the wall
Her mind is gone
Unless I'm in there with her
And the change is gruesome

I'll be her drug
Until she dies
Another hour or so

She has my undivided attention
All she ever wanted
And she will sate my hunger
All I've ever wanted

To me this felt like a dark hole. Being sucked into a place that there is no coming back from, and being oddly content with that. It was uncomfortable in the most comfortable way (I think that only made sense to me lol).
