The Red Lick of Her Fire: Another Month

By Purposelessness

She pulls another insect out
And eats it
Staring at the wall
Her mind is goneĀ
Unless I'm in there with her
And the change is gruesome

I'll be her drug
Until she dies
Another hour or so

She has my undivided attentionĀ
All she ever wanted
And she will sate my hunger
All I've ever wanted

This was dark indeed...Left me wondering what kind of back story would illuminate the details here within. Good write.

Thank you guys, for your comments and your support. It's been hard to let people see anything I write, and when I do it's never been the right setting. Until now. This dark place in the internet is so strangely comforting, and there's always something fresh for me to read too.

To me this felt like a dark hole. Being sucked into a place that there is no coming back from, and being oddly content with that. It was uncomfortable in the most comfortable way (I think that only made sense to me lol).
