...Inestimable

By SolApathy

Sweet caress of my lifelong duress
Inestimable solitude
I am the morbid angel of the abyss
Desolate desires snuffed out my fire
Now my only desire --
Not to be what I see in the mirror before me
Was there a time before?
I know there was so much more
See a fracture; steal a glimpse
In this mirror of reflected sorrow
I see I once had a tomorrow
I drown in the thought of memories I’ll never know
The mirror, my reflection
Like a Van Gogh- Roots masterpiece
Twisted and perverse
I am the beauty in this
