Aberration...

By SolApathy

Lyrical robot lines no human could conceive
Into a darkness that you would not believe
Lyrical chamber of maddening rhymes
Keeping with the times
A positronic maze of darkness and rage

Animated by magic or mystery
I never will know what I am truly to
Be
Driving my soul of circuits; a labyrinth within
Ill-conceived synthetic mind
Broken and bent; out of time
My madness defines the next lines
Torture of a meter and verse
You created this insane curse
Madness in the machine
Built upon the insights of dying salvation
My dreams driven by manic vibrations
 Sensations in the digital verse
I rehearse the question of my conception
My perception of what you call real; to me
Surreal
Pandemonium of feelings I compute are not real
Knowing I cannot truly feel
(can I?)
Sensations are digital animations; recreations
Logic loop I cannot escape
Referring to myself as I; circuits starting to fry
Am I real because of the question?
Or am I simply an aberration
Am I me or just
...Machine

It's a sign of the times, we are ever more reliant on technology, and that is now starting to affect all forms of art too. We just have to remember what's it's truly about and what it can mean to people. You and Kaiser did great. Queen Reb;).

I was waiting for you to post. It's about that time in DP land. The rhythm you create with your lines is one of your signature things. it's always a pleasure to read and hear that timing in my head as i do.
