Walker... Blue

By SolApathy

Been evicted from my mind
…About time
Spent too many of my days
Burning in the bonfire
Of soon to be
Broken dreams
Lost in the memories of days I’ll never have
Tell me of the desire to be
Stuck in this broken reality
Shadows following me at high noon
Never escaping the desperation
I am the dark side of my own moon
Cold, lifeless, in constant crisis
Take a brillo bad to my dreams
I promise I won’t scream
My pain sustains my being
(Tired of feeling)
Inject the Johnnie Walker Blue
Into my veins until I can no longer feel you
The fire burning
…Through

Johnnie Walker is great stuff, but for me, nothing beat opiates and the euphoric feeling that came along with them. Beautifully personal, love. Queen Reb;).

Oh..."the dark side of my own moon". You have your distinctive style of breaking up your lines which give it a familiar cadence throughout all your work. But the subject matter is fresh each time. This is as vivid and personal feeling as ever. Scholar
