Why am I always locked
In my cage
Victim of your rage
Iniquitous thoughts
Fury of fire though my mind
Knowing I can’t rewind
I escape
Down to the depths of things unreal
Grotesque feelings so deceptive in their darkness
Starkness
Whipping like a flag in a hurricane
I am the cold dark acid rain
What joy to escape this insanity
Eviscerating my soul
Exsanguination as the x-acto lets my blood flow
The pain you inflicted escaping
…. As drops on the floor
Turning into a river that will soon be
...No more
I smile for the first time in eternity
Escaping this cage
I watch you
Watch me
Let go
You control me
…No more
