...Reflections of the blade

By SolApathy

Shattered is the ground & sky
Screaming rain from her eyes
Playing a symphony of agony
In the silence of her deafening
Cry
Shining blade
 soon to be
…cerise…
Once rusty, forgotten, anew
Hidden among the broken memories
You stirred in her soul
Empty; and they won’t let her go
 memoirs of the blade speak
Can’t understand what we see
How is all of this…Me?
Tune of darkness and death
Whispering a serenade of agony
echo in the raindrops of her sorrow
Reflection of the blade
Tells' of how tomorrow will be made

Contemplating the stark place in which I am
Faceless to those I thought cared
Forgotten; all the memories we shared
Terrified of this place I’m in
No one to confide in
Except the insanity with me
Voices won’t let me
Be
Telling her, me, myself, and I
Take the blade deep
Murdered my dreams
Now I must
…Sleep

Thank you to whomever voted for this to be a POTD. I truly appreciate it.

The ones who will stay by your side no matter what, as opposed to those who you do so much for, yet they flee at the first sign of trouble. I've known a few of those type of people, and my life is all the better without them. A huge eye-opener, darling. Queen Reb:).

Wow, this is a pov that's very unique. You perform such magic with your imagery always. Brilliantly dark. - 10:43

You captured the essence of what I was trying to convey perfectly.... We all suffer from schizophrenia in a small way; trying to keep our demons at bay..
