...Winters grasp

By SolApathy

Into the darkness in which summer fades
Autumn makes its way
Before the grave of winters breath
A journey of hues
Striking & red
The warmth of the orange dancing with the sun
Greens gone & grey
Grass fades away
As the darkness of the world; earlier every day…
Sway your swings as the last birds sing
Darkness is coming
...The end of the dream…
Soon the stream
Frozen until spring
Life seems like it’s somehow ending
My darkness is again
Beginning
Spinning out of my control
Winter has taken…Hold
and may never
...Let go

Just as the winter months come to an end, I do so hope that your sorrow does as well. A visually stunning narrative, dear heart. Queen Reb:).

Just the seasonal blahs that mark our orbital monotony SA. Seems like that tilted axis could be fixed too :) Meanwhile, the Southern Hemisphere enjoys the dog days of August...Cheers my friend! - Dan
