...Clarity of nothing

By SolApathy

Such a quiet day
If only the voices would go away
Epic endeavors to steal my sanity
Break my veil of picturesque vanity
Into the storm of my mind
Voices, never have they been kind
Always tearing into my soul
Crumbling my mind’s eye view…Exposing the reality
It was all just an illusion
Entrapped in my own lie
Moment of clarity escaped into the crack
No looking back
I am my own self destruction
Now I look truly to the world and see
…I have nothing

Sheesh SA - this just kept getting more depressing but the closing thought was expressed in a novel way to save the day. They say those voices are a dead giveaway. Cheers my friend! - Dan
