IwishIwishIwishIwish….
1.
This wanting grace feeling
Oh hopeful next year season
Frigidly malfeasant
Found discarded reason
2.
Effervescent nevermore
Born of singular delights
Loss collectively deplored
Want in solitary strife
3.
Paradox is everywhere
Deeply misaligned design
Reflection leading to despair
Lessons taught in overtime
4.
Learned responses now aligned
Refracted light can be a lie
Another year alone resigned
Another reason not to try

inspired by all those really indie poetry periodicals i used to collect in my undergrad years, something devil lyn wrote had that formatt and took me back a bit. thanksComments on "IwishIwishIwishIwish…."

This title is really clever, and it portrays the always present wishes that we have, but can never obtain. No matter what our situation is, with hope we always look forward. Amazing, dearie. Reb:).

"Manana is good enough for me" - maybe eh A.? Some solid stanzas. That "loss collectively deplored" line speaks to a peer pressure perhaps. Something that might be akin to "grace" in our value society. Cheers! - Dan
