Crystal No Longer

By Crystal Passion

A detached spiral staircase to nowhere
spiraling into the unencunbered abyss of solitude
Where will you take me?
Where does it lead?
Simply cast away the final trappings of the love that tithes me to him
Take me where you please, just get me there fleetingly
so that I may begin my day of reckoning
and that what remains
is the empty shell
of the crystal
he once made me

bleh... i felt like i was going to cry... fact is if it was true love we'll never forget, and from what i feel i haven't forgotten yet, i find i lie to myself more often than i once thought *~*aNDReW*~*

Oooh, pretty. It even looks like a crystal. No, seriously now, it was striking and imaginative. Very well done.

~kryz... poignant to the point of tears... the understanding that it is all over is, in reality, a blessing in disguise... as urban said, "nicely written!"

  • A former member wrote: Sad write but sometimes all we need is to complete the (sometimes long) road to closure. Very nicely written. ~Urban Shipwreck~
