Blackheart

By The Fallen Angel

Love. It will take you through the motions
A quintessential cause for devotions
It is a decision that hearts make
A tenderizing heartache
The making of a death wish

Within a second of a hour
It conquers and devours
A parasitic creature taking over
Mental Cancer
Eating away minds in demolish

When your pride life is scattered on the floor
Concentrated by beams from the sun for all to see
Emotions shift as far from “Christ” as angels sore
Atonement for dementia is made by the blood of your atrocity
As your debtors, the torment of your soul is temporarily dead

Until clouds of memories daily oppress you
A Life scarred to and through

Hate. A final motion of devotion
A trip to depths of the blackest ocean
It is the decision of a heartbreak
An evil spirit awakes
With a lust for redemption

Coexisting with love its hex is dire
Just a choice not a desire
But no creature can deviate from its black rose venomous
A beautiful desert bloom
Addictive
Attractive
Contagious
Quells not before intention

Without love there be no hate
Without hate we love no more
To love one is another to hate
Just a reason worth living for

Blackhearts are not guild by hands of hate and love
We abide by one true emotion

LUST

The invigorate high
The passionate low
It feeds with our blackened notion

Love and hate are a need not a desire
Love and hate are choices not an emotion
They only takes us through the motions

A heart of black is dead to the world
And the scars it insists to invoke
Beaten and provoked
A soul that is furled
Broken is he for confounding lust with needs

  • A former member wrote: I am completely loving this poem. So very true that lust is confused with love. Very valid points that coincide with my own views of love and the such.

People often confuse lust with love...but the truth is their differences always manifest...strange that some differences are invisible to the untrained mind+Fallen One+
