Delirium

By Mona

The wall so paper thin
like ice spread across the sky
i hide delirium within a hollow mind
chipped figures of the descending past
Aching envy of the lies that pass
hands clasp the threads of life
twist riddles into life like form
the law echoes times rebirths reform
closing in on me the flesh of man
earth cries he raped the child of adam

Hi Mona - let's see: Cain (murderer), Abel (slain), and later Seth (the baby) to take things literally with the closing. No guess here since they all qualify for different reasons. Nevertheless, your poem sets a fine stage of madness and elemental evil. A perfect piece for DP! Noisy neighbors are a nuisance too :) Dan
