Death's Delay
By Nimue44
And at the end,
When waiting for death I lay,
I shall keep her at bay
For one thousand nights more.
Like the sultan she will wait,
And like Scherezade
I will ter her a tale,
While the world listens through the door.
We shall play one last game
And then,
I will sail along, sail along.
