My tears could make an ocean
As swiftly as they flow
My heart is hard to open
And my mind is terrified

I long to know the love
That others surely have
Yet i wonder what my fate is
If anyone would care if i died

This song is not for one
Nor is it for two
It's a song expressing
Who i am inside

I'm too shattered and too broken
My heart is scarred inside
How do i get to open
The opposite of pride

I know my tears flowed
Recently for you
But if you cannot love me
How can i love you?

That's the only line
That deals with you this time
I don't know how to say
When i'll gain my mind

So alone and so broken
So twisted up inside
So how do i get through
Without becoming lies?

I know that my heart's broken
But who am i inside?
If ever one could love me,
I'd like her not to hide
