Prescription Pill Abuse (PPA)
By megaprime81
I found out i was a junkie
Somewhere 'round age 23
Anything to help my mood
Anything that would set me free
For years i didn't use
But now i've slipped into abuse
That seems to call forth my muse
Now i'm playing the opposite
Of Rushian Roulette
Only one chance
That it won't be the bullet
Instead of five
It's kinda miraculous
That i'm still alive

we all slip from time to time... you'll pull back up and out... you'll quickly get burned out... it's a vicious circle... but one day you'll wake up and just be done with it... all your desire for it will be gone...

What a "poetic" twist to this inside look at something many won't even admit... it adds insight. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you; they say writers write about what they know. I appreciate the kind words.
