Bruised

Yesterday I fell asleep
Drowning in sorrow
Dreading tomorrow
Now today is yesterday
Half awake I've gone away
Never knowing if I'll come back
Half my dreams are painted black
Today gets wasted
Every day
I envy those who go away
Wanting now to be like them
Knowing that I cannot stay
Half awake forever
