Understanding Knowledge
By Deathkitten
Bottomless mysteries overflow
into deprived, dried fields
which thirst for knowledge
& understanding
Absorbing excess
Newly saturated confidence
expands in the soil
Only after losing itself
& finding once again
Assuming there's a time to start
& a time to end
It immediately questions
where it should begin
Understanding knowledge
is to know that it starts
but never has an end

Knowledge is on the continuum to ultimate wisdom, and loving the earthy metaphor you grew in this piece, the harvesting will be celebrated, cheers!

This cycle and laundry are the only things I know in life to be permanent- I know many people try to write of this. I personally struggle- but I want to give applause to how you managed to capture it so seemingly easy- you wrapped one of the hardest things into simplicity.

A deep piece. I think that knowledge you speak of isn't as far off as you think. You could actually think of this poem as being pulled from the infinite divine pool of knowledge ('divine inspiration").

Sometimes its infuriating, sometimes it comforting, that there is always vasts amount of knowledge that we do not know, and can never know it all. That doesn't mean that at time I wish I did ;)
