Fearful Heart
By FearlessDragon
The flutter assaults my gut upon your approach,
The sweet release of anticipation upon seeing your flawless face,
Even harder the flutter upon your embrace,
If not for gravity i'd flee upon your taste,
The glow of your eyes sharing the same gives me life,
Words such suttle initiations fossilize this bond,
Happy teasings with you in my arms,
Sweet love making throughout the night,
The future beckoning in the back of OUR minds,
A rainbow chased for a lifetime meets its pot of gold,
Thoughts explode as I hold you closer,
Your delicate flesh bears the most enticing scent,
If forever exists we are currently trapped within it,
....
All these feelings I cling to are but memories of me,
A someone I used to be...
This new love I behold within my grasp,
So wonderful and undeserving of this...
I cannot feel a thing...
Author's Note:
Not trying to be a downer, but I've lately wondered if I can go back to feeling what I used to...Comments on "Fearful Heart"

If you have felt that way before you can undoubtedly do so again, we can never change what we are capable of. Sad piece, but beautifully written, read like mourning.

Thanks, it's good to know nothing is set in stone.
