Broken Souls

By FearlessDragon

Heavy sadness greets the two
Crossing paths amidst a crowd of ghosts,

Mere glances express what words cannot
Between this pair of broken souls,

Sorrowed minds believe the lies
They feed unto themselves,

While lonesome hearts destroy the art
That perpetuates their beauty,

Her eyes reveal a million tragedies
Swimming amongst forgotten seas,
Piercing deep they see through me,

Is she an angel or a dream?

I am not alone,

But of this i'll never know...
