life or darkness...

By worm

nothing

total blackness

the complete emptiness

of a forever lost in the chill of absolute zero

it is unbelievable to me

that this is the choice of

so many lost to the way of truth

but then, just there

an insignificant lessening

of the veil of darkness

allowing an adjustment

which has you asking

is there really, truly more

than just this total

night of shadow?

and with this one thought

comes the realization that self-awareness

is the beginning of using your mind to ask the question

is this life?

and if this is life

where did the form and function

come from?

Who is the author of this wonderment?

because it is far from our ability

to create or even expand

that which is even the most insignificant

part of this created universe

so think, my friends

use your insight to examine

all your frail abilities

and see if you come to the conclusion

that there is more to this life

than you want to admit

and if there is anything you can do

 to lessen the suffering

of the innocents…

So good to see something new from you! I love the thoughts you put out there in this one - if there is more...then DO something. Great challenge! I look forward to seeing more from you, you have been missed! Ciao, Steve Scholar
