Color Complexities

By Beautiful Incidental

These vivid colors stretch before me -
Unclaimed until my eyes adore them -
Absorb them.
They will course my veins like water...

Then converge secretly
While the universe is transfixed -
In darkness.

Counter-transference...
I believe -

I see shadows where the sunlight falls -
And a glow upon the trees - nightly.

The embrace of clemency repelled -
Security of existence -
The cold attuned...

Invisibility shifts - penetrates
Consciousness.
It will diffuse - and I will dance...
In transcendence.

You are the periphery between
What is real and the imaginary.
I once knew...

How you perceived your own color scheme -
Complementary...
We were the canvas of artistry.

What I see before me -
On the threshold of sleep -
Is an impersonation...
An insomniac's dream.

The echo of your words a laborious lullaby -
With the melody beaten -
Syllables unrhymed.
The lyrics we wrote - blackened
By the charcoal pencil of time...

Unrecognized -
In the surreal spaces of silence...

Color complexities -
Yours and mine.

What a fine piece of a merging together the memories of a past relationship, beyond resurrection, memorable indeed, thanks.
