Winter Walker

By HeadpatSlut

Caught between the blistering rain and the freezing chill of night-

When you see this pale rider, you should start running for your life-

Unless you give all that can you can’t escape this stalker-

Beware the bloodstain that you’ve fled, beware the Winter Walker-

Some say this thing is not a man, but stronger than a demon-

Some deny that he is real, but cower when they see him-

He won’t be fooled by petty tricks, won’t listen to fast talkers-

Pray the Gods have mercy, that you never see the Winter Walker-

Ice and snow and sleet and hail beckon forth this Devil’s rider-

The Keenest pistoleer, sharpest swordsman, strongest fighter-

Of every kind of painful death, he is the greatest hawker-

Your soul has been shown no mercy when you face the Winter Walker.
