Familiar faces disapear

Child hood memories Ive held dear

The world stared as I lost it all

I reached for a hand but they watched me fall

I became a tarnished star

Ugly up close and dim from afar

Left alone with no body near

Drowned in rolling salty tears

A lonly star that lost its shine

Faded away without leaving a sign

Wishing for some one to come

Cure my pain until Im numb

To polish me and raise me high

To sparkle through the midnight sky

very sad. I've always found that when you need to be picked up the most, that's when people enjoy putting you further down.

I like it. I remember wishing for someone to come, someone to SEE me. It's harsh, it's real. Nice work.
