And I knew, when I put that first bite in my mouth
Surely this had been prepared by the gods.

And I knew, when I was scarfing down half a pan
Surely this must be pure heaven I am in.

And I knew, even though I pretended not to
Surely this lasagna wasn't meant for dinner.

But it was and I caught holy hell for it
And hard as I tried, I could only say this,
