The Two Young Lovers

The Two Young Lovers

The two young lovers, now are dead-
Where corpses came alive-
From them, this ground was painted red-
In Death, their spirits strive.

They loved like no one else could tell-
For them, nobody cried-
Without a Heaven, trapped in Hell-
And like this place, they died.

A place with Hallowed ground is still-
The church before it, gone-
Evermore, this place has fallen ill-
And nevermore is Dawn.

Two souls together locked and bound-
Their bodies never buried-
While they lived, this place they found-
And Sins in Death, they carried.

Their bodies torn apart by ghosts-
Nobody ever found them-
The corpses to their souls are hosts-
And to this place that bound them.

Ordered by the ghosts that slaughtered-
To remain and watch that place-
The ghastly shells, by blood were watered-
Eternal in disgrace.

Possessed by souls, the shells awaken-
Eternity, they vow-
For by their God, they were forsaken-
They wait there, even now.

They stand together, hand in hand-
And guard that graveyard still-
Their names forgotten, their souls are damned-
In Death, forever ill.

WOW! This piece was so cool... Well written, with a flow that runs perfectly... The visuals let me see everything, so sad, so gruesome, so profound... thank-you
