Tea Leaves

By Blood Saga

This. is.

A little...

.

Drop.

.

of Bliss.

.

Use it wisely now.
Gold is just

                                          Stardust.

after all...

...

It's not in our nature
to live and let live.

But maybe we could
just
try
it

For now.

Predictions...
will have to stand

                ...as such.
and no one could hope
to change our mind.

"You're either grieving or dead."

When you can't go on living.
That shock to your skin...
To your finger.tips.
somewhere between pain and pleasure
                  and then you realize
you can't feel anything...

And you've never felt better.

It's like when the Spiders
spun their webs
and wove sweet silken dreams
            ...in your head.
Endless hymns
and Never Afters...
In a million different shades of blue.

It was never a question
of if you...

                     ...Believed.

Somehow.
You just knew.

                 .. . ...

.

You're either with or against
Existence.
It really isn't up to you.

The colors are too vivid.
         Reality's too real.

...They all stopped whispering a long time ago...
And they told you that was progress?
You are sick. And you know it.
You aren't any better than any one of them.
                  of us.

...You're beginning to believe what they tell you...
...That you can't be trusted with your. own. Freedom.

             Let me tell you
       a little story
of my own...

...

Spiders weave your Nightmares...
[the ones you won't wake from]

If it's too much for you
by all means
                               ...let it go.
...

Let the burden fall
to someone else
you'll never know.

It's not a question
of why you're still alive.
Just why you're still breathing...
when you have a--

--Choice.

.

          .. ... . .

Maybe we're all just grieving
what we never knew we had.

                            ...Or maybe we're all dead.

I can see why Bri has gone totally gaga for this piece. This descends and hits all the right notes with perfect precision. Such wistful and beautiful poetics on grief and how we can’t control its impact on our mind and our being. Brilliant.

Somehow I missed this when it came around... I am so pleased to have stumbled on it this morning. I read it once, then slowly a second time. It captured me..and held me. Well done.
