stare down the sky

By alex herewane

stare down the sky
change has come to tear you apart
change has come to break your heart
changes upon changes were going to change the ending change the where it began
when I stare down the sky I crumble I fall
hide the scars of the  holy inside the tears of the lonely
you don't know me
don't waste fear on the young don't try to make deals with the dying
just like me you can't save anyone
you sqeeze the trigger and you hold the gun
you know it's not easy being me looking at you
the maker of mirrors is a friend of mine
everytime I cumble everytime I fall he puts me together
and we stare down the sky

There's something about this I really like. It pricks a pointed shard deep inside me. . .I wish the maker of mirrors was a friend of mine, too. Maybe if we all had a friend like that, we would be less broken.
