Bailiwick of Legerdemain

By Riven Waker

In olden deeps of forest keep
Lurks the damned one in realm of beast
Never risk eye nor hair nor hide
Thus be my craven wave

The vampire queen
Who spurned my king
{And damned him into living death}
Theirs is but one passage
Through the whole of things
And methinks the eyes
Shall have their stings

Where the silver moon shines
I may have eyes to do my insinuative work
I saw her there with the child
And my intoxicant fed her bane
For I was ever the source of her curse
Now inebriated she was with bloodlust

I, thine vintner
Guardian of the Graceskull Arch
{The gateway tween life and death}
Enmity to all vampires known
Whom lurketh neath larch

In the cavern of dreams
She has lain and set her own trap
Sudden blood hunger drew her in
She quickly took the child
(Feverish envenomed reciprocal
By vampiric and gorgon fang
Sipping from seas
Of synthetic blood
Coming to know itself)
And just as quickly was taken
Advancing to catch the child's eye
Replete with torchlight and lightning
Components summoning phantasm and specter
A trigger conceiving magic from every - whence

A glimpse feint askew away through the thrice nine
mirror and quinine laced vials
Till re-alighted unto mine progeny a revenant immemorial
I, the Lich King, thou noble blood wine
Soon fulfilled of thy prophecies spawned beyond time the living burial
Ever so ancient glib flicker of wight vine
Ever deep in the past is the place of potentate ethereal
Displaced slightly from behind her eyes
Refracted a - whisper - that one which awoke him
From timeless slumber - as now the charm is uttered
Inceptor of the dweomer of making
Of the Gorgonite Overchild
Having fallen forever through and known
All universes of pain and suffering
Eyes imbued with all Hells' fires
Shadowed by fearsome brow
Commencing an eternity ago
before time itself
And unmaking the fiend
A spell cast fed into this moment
Upon the charnel altar
Of the queen's temptation
And the petrificant
Freezing annihilative gaze
Deflected so slightly
Made icy sluggard of her
Barely alive
And her subjects were
To perish ever so

That gaze now is mine and as for me
As it was so shall it be - a synecdoche
Returning through eternity
To amniotic singularity
One may hem - the skein
Zeroing in phrases of absolution

Of tricks creation the reflection vanished
Phantasm betwixt mirrors would languish
For he would become one as she the first
His power divulging her once raving thirst

Having beheld the trinity of the void
Vestal shrouds upon the stars rain
Tomb of god's is soon destroyed
Overchild you forevermore reign

I wasn't sure what to expect but this did not disappoint. Your choice of words really worked for me. Very unique. The ending hinted at doom to follow. Nicely crafted :)
