A toast!

By veingo

I could use

A caring embrace.
A concerned touch.
A comforting smile.

I could use some words of wisdom

Not wives tales.
Not drivel.
Not cliches.

I mean, are you kidding me?

A stage?
A dream??
A box of chocolates???

It's more like a shot of whiskey down the wrong pipe.

Cheers!

Brilliant - we're so often often thrown these old cliches to pacify our torment when all we need is something of substance

  • A former member wrote: I like the way the question marks increase in number... and the slanted arrangement of words, but I'm easily amused and pacified. I'm thinkin' whiskey tastes better down the right pipe... but then, maybe that's the point, huh? CHEERS! Definitely time to toast in the chatter.
