looking out
By swing_the_hammer
cars are circling around the block,
to watch me on the porch.
watch me smoking on the porch,
i am locking all the doors,
they are coming 'round again
i am sitting on the couch,
sitting on the couch, it has no legs,
it just sits on the floor
and the time doesn't move, no it doesn't
move like it used to before
in my brain there is a twinge,
it makes me fidget in my sleep,
yeah i keep talking through my dreams
but i don't know what it means
they are coming 'round again
i am choking on my water,
trying to keep my breath in check,
but i was like a lamb, led to the
valley of the shadow of
the midwest

I loved the ending. You have a way of making me wish I wrote some of the ideas you came up with. Good job.
