Spinning, whirling out of control
The off key balance that prevents
My mind from staying afloat
Sustaining the vertical fortitude
Rooted limbs that brace
..The melting shell
TO
THE
FLOOR
Reaching out for the body that binds
The shackled vessel
Locked within a stolen chest
That few are sworn to see
A rock to hold
As support gives way
To a million emotions
-Burning into that
which holds me steady
when at last forgotten breath
had been steadily taken
my eyes are turned to you
reaching the piercing layers
hidden beneath the glassy glow
within your eyes
I never knew you wanted me too.
