Into the chaos of dreams rendered in blood
I seek to end this dark flood
Emotions of a soul scorned
Brillo-pad worn
I feel the rough saturation of memories seeping deep
Drowning me in this darkness I never did seek
Thoughts of serenity as far away as infinity
I burn with empathy I could never share
Look into these dreadful orbs of dehumanized flesh
Retched tears of death spawn as I am upon the crest
Below the ocean toils to seduce my sin
Daring to imbibe what little is left within
Hollow –My flesh is my grave
There is nothing left here to…Save

An empathy you can never share --why not? That you feel it, is a start. Keep writing, my friend. Scholar
