Tethered

By Phalanx

A monster talks to himself like an old friend
With no ending.
He loves his wounds.
He loves his sin.
It's in a special way that he turns his back on god.
He lies about Capitols.
He doesn't fully know his own mind, giving himself too much credit.
He loves a woman that he regrets leaving, with words unsaid.
This boy is a man, trapped,
He doesn't know his name in front of God.
He and she are lost because he is.
This man misses her so.
This place is not one for love.
Who chooses in this wake of mistake?
I won't but, i'll take the advice.
She makes up for what I'm not.
She's better than me and I admit it.
I just need her to know it.
To see that I apologize, not for saying sorry to capture but, that I believe this.
I will own my wrong because I know I need to change bacause I love you.
Loving you makes me want this.

I enjoyed the intricacies of the lettering here.Tethers remind me of a spider-Woman.I can't see such a thin line separating fact from fiction though. We might need extra eyes for that. - Å’
