- "You make so many valid points I don't know where to begin. Let me address the obvious. We are getting weaker as a society everyday. Strength comes from the good things, family and a strong parental unit. Unfortunately that is rare and unusual these days. We have no discipline bc we are afraid. Afraid of being judged publicly. Our lives are open books on Facebook but its all for show. All lies. We are too busy posting and texting to talk and teach. Our kids are waiting for us to show them the way. Do we know ourselves? A lot of times, loved ones without first-hand experience with depression undermine the fact that it's a psychiatric illness. It sounds like you have someone in your life who may need a little more understanding. My heart goes out to you through your journey through these complex and emotional times. Poetry is a great way to release tension that has accumulated while feeling low. Your rhymed line pairs are spruced up nicely by the three-line stanzas dotted throughout. Still, your words cause me to reflect on times I've been in the position of feeling otherwise empty aside from my hearts aching, insistent pangs of, "i miss her. I miss everything about her." It takes time to feel whole again. "
