  • "I have read this two ways: firstly, what a beautiful sentiment you have created here (if I am reading this correctly) ...a confession, a declaration to the other, to love, the completion of ones self through the recognition that the 'being' of you exists through and within another... and secondly, more on my own personal viewing, I see this as an embracing of ones completeness, after a long and intensive journey to the heart of ones true being, the pieces have finally been unified, or perhaps the unessentials have been hacked away until the true form has been revealed, and set free to simply be, to exist in the present moment without clinging to the past or reaching for the future...... a pure and unobstructed movement through the now. Simple and brilliant. I love it. ~b"

  • "t has been a long while since writing this. It is funny and hard to remember the exact way I was feeling, but I can remember writing being a special way of detoxing from much of the toxic non sense I was experiencing. Thanks DP for being a place of release and allowing us all to express and embrace our darkness, and everything. It is fun to look back and see how much change has happened within my mind since. My heart is the same pounding & melting steel. hehe "

  • "Fantastic. I love the first stanza. I also look at it as though you have become one within yourself for better or for worse, an acceptance of sorts. "

  • "really enjoyed the rhythm of this entry. Especially enjoyed in the middle with the ending on stressed syllables for like four lines. Very strong. I like it."

  • "i have a similiar take on this as Mylissa,..yet i feel in this you've written yourself as a person that doesnt deserve alot so thats the type of person youve settled with,..like a self surrender of character,...i deserve as good as i give...?..."

  • "I have to say I read this twice. I feel like you are speaking of dating through some interesting characters and really being bombarded with the attention of not the best people only to finally stop looking. Once this happened you ran directly into the person you were meant to be with all along. At least that is my interpretation, well done :) "

  • ""I am the current of the dark & bright" and "We all want what we desire, but will we retrieve it from the fire?" These lines are pure genius. I love it!"

  • "powerful churning motion in this. restlessness and contempt-laced lust. The first stanza caught me and didn't let me go until after the last word. and i did love that first stanza. feelings that i know well. thanks for the great read!"

  • "Oh GOD....the question of my life. staring at me and mocking me. "we all want what we desire but will we retrieve it from the fire?" soooo many desires and so many fires to contemplate...is the prize worth the price? is the yearning more painful than the inevitable burning? GOD! That line smacked me upside the head and my ears are still ringing. fucking brilliant! "
