Assessed Blame, Credit
By unspeakable truth
The masses assemble
On a genuflecting quest
Praising to raise the status of...
fear
A leecher of close proximity life-forces
Necessities stranglehold
To allow the mind to make this all workable
Within the swearing of knowing there is no room for...
blame
A nice and neat reiteration of excuse
Emphatically stating that drugs are the work of the...
Addiction is a lure for the...
devil
With dropped jaw I speechlessly ponder
Maybe the devil helped those masses create all the excuse
A bold daring of the suggestion that the evil is under their feet
As that profession of faith rambles on endlessly
So sure there is this owned spiritual blanket of the love and light of
...god...
Is there a devil?
Does he rake over the world with destructive force
A phantom enigma
Infecting, devouring to the obliteration of each lost soul
Or rather is he alive and doing well thank
By the power given up to him
So set within a cast of faithlessness
Divine in its own right
A tempest of torn hearts
Flip it over find more sickness
They were saved, “thanks be to god”
That’s right you heard the unstable voice
Saved by him, almighty and ever loving
As someone’s child...
Jumped from a bridge
Found a more suitable way with rope and a branch
While she was over patched and found non responsively dead
His needle was still attach as was hers when discovered
Him a heap on the wooden floor, her sitting up against a tree staring at
a peaceful lake
Do I need to go on?
Were these children not good enough?
Did they lose life because god didn’t care enough to save?
Lose it all to the devils need to feed?
Shall we dare ( questions )again
Open the door to common sense, to reality
Yes one that the praying can’t control
That the child, the addict saved themselves or lost themselves
Could it ever be by the actions of...
The consequences of said actions...
If there is a devil bet he is laughing mockingly
As god would surely be sorrowfully shedding tears
(Authors note. Sadly each tiny glimpse of death is true. The above is the
anger of a mind in mass confusion. Watching the ever pronounced faithful
blame everyone and everything for, and then contradict themselves with
empty rhetoric, day in and day out. And the addicts are said to be sick…..)

I read this. I thought I commented, weird. The one word spaces between the stanzas really go well with this write. Very nice.

Thank you :) Dare I say I hate it, not the writing, but the premise. And here I thought I couldn't be shocked anymore but the thinking process just blows me away, and honestly scares me at times.

It amazes me that you are able to write that so perfectly in this, the thinking process and how it blows you away. That is stunning, and "open the door to common sense" priceless.
