Astral Fall

By Recycled

I was safe in the arms of an angel
Until she let go
And I fell so far
That I lost sight of where I was going

Up turned to down
Stars burned into streaks
Time fell out of sequence
I fell until the black turned to gray

I fell through a black hole
Where not even feelings could escape
Further from safe and security
Faster than thought

I found myself approaching a new dawn
Drawn toward someone I should have fled from
For she brought salvation too close to reality

But as always, your work fills me with a kind of completeness? i rather sinking feeling only to be brought up at the end, even if your held up by the devil. Interesting to say the least, and oh so poeticly beautiful. ~gothic~
