Blurred Lines

By unspeakable truth

As it gently falls about you
Its evilness not at all like,
The shimmering fluffiness shown
Such illusion it creates
Encasing skin
Tingling the senses
Ripping the mind wide open
Mesmerizing

(Oh yes, do please mesmerize)

Charming, seducing
Gently it teases
Breaks down all barriers
Exposing the inner most depths
Generating fear
Exciting the demons
That hide ... always waiting
All to patiently

Destruction of spirit, mind
Consumption of body
Time stutters
Focus shifts into fragmented pieces
Between the altered and true reality
All to often meshed upon the other

To honestly care has slipped grasp
Do you really want to in certain instances?
Or is that a pretense to protect yourself?

The voices prey upon
You sit stuck in place
Unable to move
Yet unable to stop

As the subconscious sets the scenes
Each next line further blurs
Into each next day

Madness paints the walls,
As do the bugs, with their creep crawling
So real, or is it, is it!
Not so easy to tell coming undone

Transfixed behind blank eyes
Paralyzed in the memories
The room inches ever smaller
With each passing hour
Everything ever felt as suffering
Every pleasure, divine
Embroil upon each other

The truth...
Where is the truth?
What is the truth?
As the bugs refuse to answer

Choices show in many forms
When that ride is over
It is over

The window
Do it, jump!

“Would you guarantee my death?”

Within a prayer, a promise
Lusting, loathing

this was absolutely wonderful. At first I was confused (not always hard to do) then it gripped me, and left me wanting more. great poem.
