Flames of Hatred

By darkness_descends

Flames of hatred scorch my heart
Hatred for feeling the way I do
Constantly on the verge of tears
Can't think straight
Can't concentrate
Want to bleed it all away
Cut and slice
Desecrate my skin
One laceration
For every time I've screamed
One scar outside
For every scar inside
One drop of blood
For every tear I cry

Hatred for this world
Mocking what it doesn't understand
Pointing fingers as I walk down the street
Don't care to know
The person they ridicule
Couldn't possibly be the same as them
Freak outside
Must not feel
Cold dead heart
Words don't hurt
Kick me when I'm down
Don't pick me up
Laugh as I choke on my tears
Hate me for what you see outside
While I despise me for what I am inside
As flames of hatred consume me.
