You can never say beautiful too much...

By torn_beauty

Look how far we have come,
to the ends of the world.
to the end of social boundaries.
and to show our youth and love.

They can try to pull us down
like they always do,
but we climb high over their disdain,
we have breeched their 'comfort' zone.

Look at me again.
So I can see your beautiful soul
shining through your eyes
touching me with simple caresses.

How can they not break through
embrace, watch, inhale our beauty,
their beauty, the glory of intimacy?
They turn to the cold again.

We walk a path of acceptance
pulling up the passing stranger
to view our hope, our innocence.
We are not ignorant.

Touch me once again
fingertip to fingertip.
I can feel your heartbeat
I can touch your spirit.

Lovers like us our few,
but our beauty shines through
the clouds...
