For poets whom I can feel

By veingo

Feed me with your words.

Speak of

the sweetest fruit

the smoothest cream

the most delicious wine.

Touch me with your breath.

like a cool wind

from the mouth of a deep cave

on summer's hottest day.

Caress me with your thoughts.

Explain the sensation

of drawing near the fire

having come in from the freezing rain.

Heal me.

Inspire me.

Sustain me till the end of time.

Like your words, that live forever.

This is a gorgeous write Ron. We all have so many inspirations, but few really can put into words about inspiration from other poets. Very nice.

  • A former member wrote: ooooooh...I like this piece. Such an amazing tribute, put into words that could relate to anyone. Excellent, Ron. Excellent. ~*Beth*~
