Scalding my cheeks with their moist embers
Lacking spark and distinguishing rouge
They drown meâ€¦

They engulf me when youâ€™re with her
Satcheled, tethered, and sinking deep
Their weight hindering my breath
They mock meâ€¦

â€¦ unknowingly to everyone else

They break me when youâ€™re with her
Shredding with masochistic undertones
Reminders of a shattered heart
They kill meâ€¦
