Highlighter

By Recycled

The sky is highlighter blue
A very light neon hue
Almost thin enough to see through

Lost in this majestic expanse
Wisps of clouds

Hurrying to find their place
Ten minutes late to the show

It is to the clouds
My face is turned

Because I cannot find what I seek
Looking left and right

Somewhere other than here
Has to be a second chance

A redemption clause
Hidden in the wind

Somewhere in the canopy of sky
Is the golden key of expansion
The key to a better me

"Somewhere in the canopy of sky Is the golden key of expansion The key to a better me" - great closing line to this one, it ended things on a hopeful note. Ciao, T/S Scholar
