...Last Lines---Will you help me to fill the void?

By SolApathy

Burdens of a writers embrace
Embolden the dangers we face
Darkness of our dreams brings us to the extreme
Waking worn from phantom screams
Words echo tales of those we've failed
Our first line transforms into a life entertwined
Stanzas of stillborn thoughts, brought
Into this world, static and unfeeling--Unyielding

I leave this poem in disrepair
Unfinished
Will you write another line?
Do you dare?
Take a moment to reflect upon what you would say
If you had only one line in which to portray
Feelings and thoughts of last nights' dream, fought
