...Withered Remembrance

By SolApathy

A sky of crimson comfort
Numbs the disire to try
Laying here listining to songs waiting to die
Too many losses among the gains
Lead to too many days of rain
My soul weathered
Withered
Into the darkness I desire to slither
In a ball of angry memories I lay
I feel you prodding for me to come out of my shell
Stop living in this self-imposed hell
If I could give you a taste
Of the darkness I face
Tremble in frozen silence you would
haunted by the dreams never rendered
You would fall and surrender
Go on a bender
Do anything you could to never again
...Remember
