Sad Piano

By RedWolf

Chains to be shed, fetters unbound
Emerge from the cage lined with sorrow
Savour the unknown taste of freedom
Whilst listening intently for the sad piano

Melodies are heard from myriad voices
Climbing to their own crescendo
None can match the haunting harmony
That which is the song of the sad piano

Pining for the music to set one free
Creep out from beneath the shadow
Join in with a gentle chorus
To sing to the tune of the sad piano
