Nimrods baby

By molock

searching for truth
...not knowing what
i would find.
looking at reality
through someone
else's eyes
using a level and
compass
i had to read
between the lines...
if it's ok
...now i'll cover my
left eye...

Babaylonian angel,
desert flame in bloom
the devil wears a halo
...the end is coming
soon...

once i saw a rocket ship
up in the sky
from a holywood movie
set
...projected in to my mind
did we ever go to the moon?
...don't be afraid to question
the lies
i've never seen a real picture
of space
...i wonder
what do they have to hide

Babylonian angel
desert flame in bloom
the devil wears a halo
... the end is coming
soon..

can you remember
yesterday
...niether can i
if the earth is spinning
 i'll have to learn how
to fly...
if you could see things
my way
maybe it could change
your mind
guess it's all the same
...let's watch airplains
paint the sky.

Babylonian angel
desert flame in bloom
the devil wears a halo
...the end is coming soon...

I like this piece, makes you think about all the lies they tell us. Food for thought.

Ooh is this the fiery furnace king or the tower of Babel guy? I think Nebuchanezzar preceded him (writing on the wall???). Cheers again! - Dan

New for me Mo and a nicely done biblical prophesy with a touch of skepticism my friend. 5-4-3-2-1 Cheers! Dan

After I read your work I always end up longing to hear it sung. Just an acoustic guitar and a lone voice... I end up reading your work a few times before I comment for that reason alone. No matter how much sorrow I felt from this, it has that silver lining. The visuals alone make this worth it. Reading this just felt good.
