My shadow walks,
...unforgiven.
i follow it,
'til the end.
each step leads 
to the next,
with the devil as my
witness,
....i embrace this
darkness within...

it was there,
burnin' crosses.
i looked into the
flames,
...only to see the
faces of those
forgotten.
my shadow walked
into the darkest day....

i can not reconcile
with my conscience.
to it i am always a 
slave.
as i drift deeper into
this darkness,
...i swear
i will not be afraid.

without hesitation...

into the arms of
 deception...

without direction...
feeling this darkness 
inside of me 
...wearing my skin.
